Anne has been a public involvement consultant and strategic planner for 30+ years primarily serving the public sector. She specializes in designing and implementing authentic and transparent public engagement processes and in bringing unheard voices to the table. She has also developed and taught several training courses, including on engaging underrepresented stakeholders, and is co-author of a Public Participation Fieldbook

Anne has been a member of IAP2 USA since 2000, serving on the international, U.S. and Midwest chapter boards and numerous committees. She served on the 2016 Steering Committee to update the trainer preparation process.

Anne completed the IAP2 International 5-day Certificate in Public Participation course in 2010.

Throughout her career, Jan has assisted public and private sector clients in designing and facilitating P2 programs in a wide variety of sectors.

Jan has been an active IAP2 member since 1999. She completed the IAP2 International 5-day Certificate in Public Participation course in 2004 and has been an IAP2 Licensed Trainer since 2005.

Jan served on the 2016 Steering Committee to update the trainer preparation process and the 2017 Foundations Trainer Candidate Selection Panel. She also served on the IAP2 Canada Certification Task Force which developed the Canadian Professional Certification program.

Ratih has 15 years of experiences of consultancy and project management in local and regional economic development, business enabling environment, and multi stakeholder and public consultation. She is also a facilitator and local trainer for SMEs business development in Indonesia and involved in several integrated socio-economic studies, livelihood restoration and community development, and various facilitation and advocacy.

Ratih will provide additional perspectives for selection assessment, especially in regard to the needs of the local context and of the Indonesia region of IAP2.

Ratih completed the Foundations in Public Participation course in 2018.

Erika is the Regional Service Line Lead for the Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Unit at Aurecon South Africa. She has been involved in social and public participation processes for the past 19 years in various parts of the world, mostly in developing countries such as Ghana, Namibia, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique and South Africa, and has extensive experience in public participation, social impact assessments and dealing with sensitive stakeholders.

Erika has been the assistant to trainers for 20 years and currently serves as chair of IAP2 Southern Africa (IAP2SA). She completed the IAP2 International 5-day Certificate in Public Participation course in 2011, and served on the 2016 Steering Committee to update the trainer preparation process.

Kim Hyshka is a believer that just about anything is possible with a little dialogue. She’s on a mission, to chart a different course for public conversations, better conversations that open possibility, cultivate collaboration and spark change through dialogue. With over 10 years working in the field of engagement, she has developed a passion for designing and facilitating conversations that matter and creating engagement experiences where participants feel valued, relationships are built and initiatives and projects move forward. You’ll find her in the midst of both large and small-scale projects, bringing experience facilitating community forums in large urban centers or walking pipelines with Elders in the remote wilderness.

Kim completed the IAP2 International 5-day Certificate in Public Participation course in 2009 and became an IAP2 Licensed Trainer in 2015.

Darren is an experienced community engagement practitioner, trainer and business management consultant. He has a broad background including local government, health, education, agriculture, business/commercial, not-for-profit, member-based organisations and community groups.

Having formerly managed the Professional and Practice Development portfolios for IAP2 Australasia, Darren has worked with some of the world’s leading practitioners and trainers across Australia and New Zealand. Darren served on the 2016 Steering Committee to update the trainer preparation process.

He completed the IAP2 International 5-day Certificate in Public Participation course in 2012.

Ellen brings more than 25 years of experience in budgeting, board and committee development, revenue and program development, strategic planning and marketing, and project planning to associations and nonprofit organizations. She manages the ongoing operations of the IAP2 international organization and works together with the Board on priorities.

Ellen served on the 2016 Steering Committee to update the trainer preparation process, and now serves on the Candidate Selection Panel to ensure an open and transparent process for the selection of qualified candidates.

Cassie has 30 years of experience in participatory decision processes, professional and technical communication, and adult learning. She is active at the national and regional levels of IAP2 USA, and served as a USA Certification Program Assessor and Certification Task Force Member.

Cassie supports the work of the Selection Panel in her capacity as the IAP2 International Professional Development Manager, with the charge to facilitate a fair, efficient and effective selection process.

She completed the IAP2 International 5-day Certificate in Public Participation course in 2004.
