What Can You Expect?

The event will involve a wide range of workshops of varying duration and topics exploring skills, tools and techniques that support effective public participation. This training will be undertaken in a rich learning environment, with activities building a creative and supportive space for participants whether they spend a day or the whole week at the event.

We are currently reviewing the session submissions that we received from trainers across North America and will be finalizing sessions over the next week; so please continue to watch for more information. We will be back with details on the trainers, course description, learning objectives and course formats.

BUT we do know…

  • We will be offering one-, two-, three-, and five-day courses
  • Training will be at the intermediate and advanced levels
  • We will have sessions on P2 and emotion, P2 and evaluation, P2 and technology, facilitation, working with stakeholders, building better P2 infrastructure, new techniques, sector-specific solutions, and more
  • We are thrilled to be offering the IAP2 Foundations training and IAP2’s Emotion, Outrage and Public Participation course
