The application process will begin soon for IAP2 Canada's first Core Values Awards, and the winners will be recognized at this September’s North American Conference in Winnipeg. To get us all thinking about how our own projects reflect the Core Values for Public Participation and even how to make them award-worthy, the March and April Learning Webinars will focus on the Core Values Awards winners from 2013.

On Tuesday, March 11, 2pm Eastern Daylight Time, we’ll hear from Corri Planck and Daphne Dennis from the City of West Hollywood. Their project “2013 Community Study – Engaging, Listening, Learning” was co-winner of IAP2 USA Project of the Year. They’ll be joined by Tracy McCabe from the City of Calgary, whose work on “RouteAhead – The 30-year Strategic Plan for Calgary Transit” received “Highly Commended” in the IAP2 Federation Member-at-Large category at Salt Lake City.

Click here to register for the webinar, and remember the two-step process: after registering through IAP2 Canada, you need to reserve your “seat” at the webinar’s virtual table.

IAP2 has 501(3)(c) charity status in USA and is able to receive donations from within the USA.
